I had planned to get on the treadmill the first thing this morning because I thought that the CWLP guys might be back to cut off the power to work on the pole next door. I decided to take my chances and watch a movie and hope the work (if it happens) won't involve a power outage. 

Watched 'ABSOLUTION' (Netflix). An aging gangster learns he suffers from Alzhiemer's and tries to make amends to his daughter and grandson. This could have been so much better, but the script seemed to run out of gas; with Liam Neeson, Ron Pearlman. "51" Metascore and I would put it at "76". From 'Original-Cin': "The film’s various elements do not quite meld, and despite a few strong performances, none of the characters feel fully three-dimensional."

925am: No trucks out front from CWLP, so I'm going to hit the treadmill and hope that their work is all done.

1240pm- home 4pm: To The Brandenburgs. We sat at the edge of the garage and chatted the afternoon away. When I drove down their street I think the car in front of me thought I was following them. They stopped in the middle of the street and then finally pulled into their driveway. I pulled into The Brandenburgs which was about five houses down the street. Odd.  

435pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; WE MIGHT BE DRUNK with an actor from 'The Sopranos'.

Finished TIM DILLON on 'HISTORY HYENAS'.

Began 'ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF SOLITUDE' (Netflix). I shut it down 11 minutes into episode #2. A classic novel of 'Magical Realism' that's transformed into a feast for the eyes.
