Watched 'BLUE HILL AVENUE' (Hoopla). The film is set in Roxbury, MA during the early 90's and concerns four friends who evolve from pre-teen potheads to violent kingpins of a ruthless drug syndicate. Corny nonsense and has just about every cliche about 'Gangs & Drugs' that has ever been used. This never rises above the level of a student film. The movie was shot in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Two Stars.

Began 'ROMCON: Who The Fuck Is Jason Porter?' (Amazon Prime). A man from Toronto seems to be every woman's 'perfect guy', until we learn that he's been conning multiple women and has even spent time in jail for his lies. I agree that the man is a criminal, but the women are somewhat at fault for believing his fictions. In the end he got two years and 3 years probation, but was this only one case of theft and deception. Many women probably wouldn't come forward because they felt ashamed to admit that they have been taken. The film should be a cautionary tale for anyone who is looking for 'true love' on a dating site. 

***I wasted a fucking half hour trying to resolve the duplicate charges of $16 to Allmusic. I got close to nowhere. They are still continuing my dispute and I'll check back in a week to see if anything has been done. 

115pm: The PC is 'Off' and it's another day on the treadmill. I was going to walk outside, but the real temp is 88 and the 'feels like' is 100 and the humidity is 67%.

140pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched 'TUESDAYS WITH STORIES; finished SHANE GILLIS on 'BONFIRE'.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
