Up 605am: Pretty heavy fog when I first awoke, then sunny & humid with temps to upper 80's. I've got the windows open until the sun breaks through the clouds. I closed up at 735am because the humidity was rising, but I got the inside temp down to a brisk 78 from 80 degrees overnight. 

 When I got up I noticed that a huge branch and much debris had fallen from the tree next door all over the driveway.  It took about fifteen minutes and I put the refuse in the 'big blue can'. 

920am: I paid the $40 co-pay by phone at Springfield Clinic. It's on the Visa and I didn't have to wait to speak to a clerk. Very odd, but in a good way.    

Watched 'RAID 2' (Netflix). An honest Indian tax collector exposes a gigantic corruption scheme that's run by a beloved political figure. He's 'A Man of The People', yet he stole millions of 'The People's' money and gold. It was pure Bollywood and so Indian that I was completely stymied by some of the cultural customs. Apparently, it is most shameful to be forced to place your sandals on the top of your head. From AI Overview: "Raid 2 was filmed in multiple locations across India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. More 'THE EDDY' (Netflix). I shut it down 43 minutes into episode #4. Definitely it takes the 'Art Film' approach to making a series, and it's working.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
