Up 630am: Much cooler & cloudy with temps to mid 80's. It seemed to have 'mist/ rained' a little bit last night, and a chance for more rain late this afternoon {Never happened}. 

Watched 'WHEN ANGELS SLEEP' (Netflix). The first time I saw this I gave it 'One Thumb Up' and I didn't remember a single scene. This time, I give it 'Two Thumbs Up'. File this one under- 'Well Crafted Amoral Tale'.  Late at night while returning home from a business trip a Spanish business executive runs over a young woman. Her girlfriend, who was hitchhiking with her, tries to escape from the man because she thinks he'll kill her too. She is correct. In the end, the guy gets away with both murders. He sank both bodies in a small pond and nothing connects him to the incident. The girls' boyfriends have criminal records and they are the prime suspects. The tension never lets up and the ending was truly surprising. 

Finished 'THE DEAD GIRLS' (Netflix). Beneath the story of cruelty and lawlessness, it's a satire of endemic corruption within the Mexican legal system. It seems that officials that took the sisters' bribes were not even investigated let alone prosecuted. During the final credits they showed black and white photos of the real characters in the series. 

The sun has made an appearance and it might increase the chances of a thunderstorm {It never rained}. Is it the treadmill or the sidewalks? I think I'll hit the streets; 'feels like' 78 at 11am and the earliest shot for rain is not until 6pm. I'll take a 1/3 'VIIA' 100 mg and hit the streets.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
