Watched 'SUITE FRANCAISE' (Amazon Prime). It's a look at what it was like to live in a rural area of France shortly after the German occupation in 1941. The village has been invaded by a hostile force, yet unresolved grievances between the tenants and owners date back generations. Interesting Premise: A German officer must read dozens of letters from townspeople who betray their neighbors to settle ancient scores. Is there a difference between 'collaboration' and 'just trying to get along'?  It seems that the film is based on an unfinished novel that was written by a Jewish woman who died at Auschwitz; with Michelle Williams, Kristin Scott Thomas, Margot Robbie, Sam Riley, Tom Schilling. "63" Metascore and I would go to "75". 

Watched 'THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT MURDERS' (Amazon Prime- 1st episode is free and the other 3 are pay to view). A 'Stew Zoo'- an apartment complex that caters to airline stewardesses. The winter of 1978, North Dallas: 4 dead flight attendants. It looks like the cops have the guy, but the rapes & killings continue. It's a fine series, but not good enough to pay. Began 'ABANDONED: The Woman In The Decaying Mansion'. In a rich section of San Paulo, Brazil an old woman lives in a dilapidated mansion. Many  years ago she and her husband were prosecuted for 'keeping their Brazilian maid as a slave'. I shut it down 23 minutes into episode #1.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
