Watched 'SLEEP' (Kanopy). A Korean couple has a problem. Hubby has a sleep walking problem that escalates into something much more. The ghost of a cranky old man has taken over the husband's soul...and then the spirit leaves after some weird shamanistic Korean rite. "80" Metascore and I would only go to "75".

Finished 'NO ONE SAW US LEAVE' (Netflix). The book written by Tamara (the little girl) is the basis for the series. I was a bit surprised that the Israeli courts didn't take the custody case. They said that the Mexican authorities should handle it, but if the husband lived with the kids on a Jewish Kibbutz wouldn't he be considered an Israeli citizen? 

Finished 'JOHN CANDY: I Like Me' (Amazon Prime). A glowing tribute to a unilaterally well liked comedic actor. He died at 43.

12pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to workout at Esporta. I only did a walk yesterday, so it's time for a '3 Hour Burn'.

Began 'SINTONIA' (Netflix). I shut it down 27 minutes into episode #2.  The series is set on the mean streets of the grittiest favela in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I'm all in.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
