 Th 10/9/25

730am (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810am (3 hits-B: Diablo's Hearse). 1255pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 435pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 815pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).

Up 630am: Abundant sunshine and temps to low 70's.

Watched 'COUP DE CHANCE' (Amazon Prime). On a busy Parisian street a rich & beautiful trophy wife meets an admirer from high school on her way to work. He has become an affluent young writer and they have an affair. The husband learns of the affair and has the man 'removed'. It's a small movie concerning 'the love lives of the very rich'; a French film directed by Woody Allen. "64" Metascore and I would go to "75".

Watched 'NELLY & NADINE' (Amazon Prime). It's a documentary about a French woman in her fifties contemplating her grandmother's life. She examines photos, diaries, and home movies that her grandmother compiled to document her 'war years' and the secret relationship with a woman that she met in the Nazi concentration camp at Ravensbruck. In the early Spring of 1945 they were sent to different camps, but after liberation they reunited and relocated to Venezuela and lived as a couple. An interesting film about a compelling love story that was almost lost to history.

***I didn't take a laxative last night and today I am constipated. It looks like I'll be taking one tonight and I don't want anything to interfere with tomorrow's visit with the computer tech...anxiety.

I got an email that Janny and Joe want to visit tomorrow with Whitney's kids. Apparently she has been hospitalized for 'falling off death'. It's a typo in her email, but I haven't the slightest idea what it means.

1215pm: PC is 'Off' and I'm not sure if I'll visit Esporta or take another walk on the treadmill.

Weights: 3 sets/  15 reps (before walk)

1pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; MARK NORMAND & SAM MORRIL on an old 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?'.

Reading 'TRANSFORMER'

440pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE ZERO SLANT; 'BREAKING POINTS'.

540pm: In the tub with 'TRANSFORMER' and listening to CLAYPOOL LENNON DELIRIUM Playlist; LESLIE WEST Playlist; LIBERTINES-'Up The Bracket'; STROKES Playlist.

Began JIM & NIKKI NORTON on 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'.

More 'THE WATERFRONT' (Netflix). I finished episode #7 and only one remains. I should be able to finish the series tomorrow morning.

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy  735am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 820am (3 hits-B: Citrus Mac).  1215pm [I took 1/3 of 'VIIA' 100 mg: 33 mg total].(1-LB: Citrus Mac).  240pm (4 hits-B: Diablo's Hearse). 435pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 530pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 815pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 630am: Rain was "in the area", but missed Westview and more sunny & unseasonably warm weather with temps close to 90. {No rain in a long time & it's getting crunchy}  About 730am several 'tree trimming' trucks arrived and parked just down the street. I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. They disappeared by 10am and I think they were at the house 'with the indoor whirlpool'.  Watched 'UPGRADE' (Netflix).  A very fine 'Dystopian/ SciFi' genre film about a couple in Melbourne ("in a not too distant future") who are in their 'auto...

Tu 9/30/25- Flu Shot/ COVID/ Gummy

Tu 9/30/35- Flu Shot/ COVID/ Gummy 730am (1-LB: a mix of Diablo's & Citrus). 815am (1/2-B: Diablo's Hearse). 1255pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 1pm [I took 1/2 'DIET SMOKE]. 250pm (1/2-B: Citrus Mac). 435pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 810pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac).  Up 635am: Sunny & unseasonably warm with temps almost to 90. Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland. "83" Metascore and I would go to "91".  Watched 'BEYOND TRAINSPOTTING: The World Of Irvine Welsh' (Kanopy). An excellent profile of t...

Su 8/9/26

Su 8/9/26 820am (GB: 5/ Durban Poison). 320pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese).  535pm (GB: 6/ Durban Poison). 830pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese).  Up 635am: Hot & humid with temps to upper 80's and a 'Heat Advisory' is in effect. Weekly Cleaning & I tried to add 'uBlock Origin' to the upstairs PC, but it said I already have it. I rejected all ads at Accuweather and it makes the site watchable. This feature is not available at The Weather Channel. I had planned to try a visit to Pleasant Plains in the morning, but constipated so I think I'll hit it later. Watched 'CHIEF OF STATION' (Netflix). A former CIA Station Chief's wife is killed in an 'accidental' explosion and then accused of being a double agent. Hubby goes rogue to find his wife's killers. Very lame and highly forgettable; with Aaron Eckhart (Alec Baldwin was first on their list). I had planned to visit Plains earlier, but constipation is an issue. 1025am- 205pm; home by 230pm call Joe...
