Watched 'SWIM TO ME' (Netflix). A fine Chilean film that stars one of the cutest child actresses that I've ever seen; She thinks that stars are 'those things on the roof'; The maid tells her that she's the same age as the kid's mother and the little girl asks if they will die at the same time also. A little thin on plot, but really nails the complicated social relationship between 'those that serve' and 'those who are served'.   

More '6IXTYNIN9' (Netflix). I finished episode #4 and two remain. 

1130am:  The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to workout at Planet Fitness, then to BLH to pick up the PC, then beer, apples, soda, and finally (hopefully) a car wash.

To BLH, Schnucks for beer, apples, soda, and finally to Green for a car wash. It looked like rain and I almost headed home after Schnucks. Looks like a chance of rain later, but that might be wishful thinking. {8pm: nada...dry as a bone}

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
