Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'THE INTERPRETER' (Netflix). I had seen it before, but didn't remember a single frame. I gave it 'one thumb up' the first time, but this time around I liked it a little more. Maybe it was the cannabis cocktail. An interpreter at the United Nations becomes involved in a convoluted terrorist plot to assassinate an African despot at the UN building in NYC.  The premise is that an attempted assassination might even be better than a successful hit. The goodwill gleaned from an 'almost assassination' can be even more politically effective; with Nicole Kidman, Sean Penn, Catherine Keener. Directed by Sidney Pollack. Three wins & 2 nominations. "62" Metascore and I would boost that to "76".  

1045am: I hacked off a couple of 3-4" (?) off the length of my hair. My right elbow/forearm is sore and made cutting the right side challenging. I think yesterday's '2 sets: no curls' made things worse. Getting both sides equal length was a challenge. No need for a ponytail for a few months. 

More 'THE ASSET' (Netflix). The female cop who is the 'asset' works for 'PET' or the Danish Security and Intelligence Service which is a national agency responsible for intelligence and counterterrorism, not the regular police force. 'Two Giant Thumbs Up" for this terrific series. They haven't said if there will be a season #2, but I vote 'YES'. The last scene shows the bad guy's wife inside the locker that contains all of the missing cocaine. Could she be the next big supplier of cocaine to Copenhagen?  And, 'the asset' recovers from an assassination attempt. 

130pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit the treadmill and then visit County Market for grocery shopping.

Began season #2 of 'TURN OF THE TIDE' (Netflix). I gave season #1 'two thumbs up', but not much of the plotline stuck. I think it  has something to do with the tons of cocaine that washed up on random beaches in the Azores. It's beautifully shot and they put some money into this one. I'm all in.
