When I got upstairs after the first bong of the day, the PC was 'Off'/ 'No Signal'. It was 'back in business' with a restart, but WHY? 1255am: everything is running fine and I think that must have been something on Xfinity's end.

Up 520am {couldn't sleep}. Light showers early, then cloudy with temps to low 50's. 

Watched 'WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY' (Netflix). It's about a Muslim family from Pakistan who are living in Norway as immigrants. Their teenage daughter is caught in private (without chaperone?) with her boyfriend and her parents banish her to a village in Pakistan to stay with extended family. There, she meets another boy and the police catch them kissing on the street. The cops force the couple to strip and then take a video of them and make the family pay up or they'd put the footage on the internet. This forces the girl's father to return to Pakistan and bring her back to Norway. When she returns the family tries to marry her off to a Muslim doctor in Canada. Finally, the girl leaves her fundamentalist household. The girl's family felt that they were acting in their daughter's best interest and it was their responsibility to make all decisions in her life... "How ya gonna keep 'em down on the farm once they've seen Par-ee"?

Watched 'US' (Amazon Prime). I thought that I had seen this one, but I remembered not a single scene. In 1986 a young black girl gets lost in a carnival funhouse and meets her evil twin. A couple of decades later 'the twin' returns to Santa Cruz, California with an army of blood thirsty killers armed with large scissors and dressed in red jumpsuits. And, all of this has something to do with 'Hands Across America'. The film is pretty standard blood & gore and the only notable detail is that the family is Afro-American; with Elisabeth Moss. "81" Metascore and that's about where I'd put it. From CONSEQUENCE: "Exciting? Sure. Unique? Without a doubt. But it’s hard to not feel frustrated by a script that never seems to figure out what it’s trying to say."   

12pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit the sidewalks. I haven't walked Washington Park in several days and although it's only 50 degrees, it's the best shot. 

1225pm- 2pm: To Washington Park...Parkview, Wash.Pk northside, MacArthur, Wash.Pk southside, Douglas, Leland, Lincoln, Ash, Wiggins, Wash.Pk southside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 35 MINUTES; more 'CHAOS' (audiobook) for the entire walk.

More 'BIOHACKERS' (Netflix). I shut it down 23 minutes into episode #4. Emma's secret is that she believes her boss, Lorenz, was behind the death of her younger brother. It's something to do with biotech research, and Emma is trying to find out exactly what went down. Interpol is also on the case if Emma can provide the proof. And, she has the greatest respect for Jasper, the guy that she's having sex with on the job. Sounds ridiculous, but it's engaging.

A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home.
