Watched 'INFLUENCER' (Netflix).  An internet influencer is robbed of her identity (and her fan base) and abandoned on a remote island. Her kidnapper (with a very prominent mole on her left cheek) is tough, but her prey is stronger. Worthy of Note: They roll the opening credits 30 minutes into the film. The premise of the girl alone on an island is set and then the movie 'begins' around the 30 minute mark; with Cassandra Naud (her mole was real!). Clever. Shot in Bangkok, Thailand. "66" Metascore and I would go to "84".  

More 'BABY BANDITO' (Netflix). The ransom for the horse is $300,000,000 Chilean pesos and that's $326,000 usd. I shut it down 20 minutes into the 5th episode. This is a very confusing series, but it's very easy on the eyes. 

115pm: The plan is to do 5 miles on the treadmill and more 'CHAOS'. 

150pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched a '48 HOURS'- Gulf Shores political operative murders his mistress or did she kill herself?  Evil perp or inept prosecution? ; more 'CHAOS'.

445pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began a 'ARE YOU GARBAGE? ' Late Payments.

540pm: In the tub with 'TRANSFORMER'/ 'THE. and listening to FIRM Playlist; URIAH HEEP Playlist; LOU REED- 'The Blue Mask'.

I got a prompt for a restart (2 minutes) and no discernible difference.

More 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?'- Late Payments.

More 'BABY BAMBITO' (Netflix). I shut it down 20 minutes into episode #7. I might be able to finish season #2 tomorrow morning. There have been far too many switches back and forth through time that it's a real head-scratcher. This doesn't at all seem like it was based on a novel, but more like an unfocused and cluttered screenplay. The intensity of the cast and the beautiful locations make it worth the effort.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
