Up 615am: Cloudy & breezy with a slight chance of snow showers and temps to low 40's. We got just over an inch of snow last night but not quite enough to cover the gumballs. 

Scooped the driveway in less than ten minutes.

****730am: I noticed the 'high anxiety producing' 'RESTART' icon....It  only took a couple of moments and I didn't faint. At 830am I stopped the film to light a candle and noticed the 'RESTART' icon again...More anxiety than before and it only took two minutes. If it happens again, I will worry (more).  

Watched 'THE RIP' (Netflix). A Crime Stoppers tip leads cops to a house with $20 million in cash hidden in the attic. They must count the cash on sight before they turn it in and their tally must equal the final count at the station. But crooked cops try to reclaim their illegal stash and for most of the film you don't know who is 'good' and who is 'bad'. Loosely based on a real incident with a cop friend of the director; with Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Kyle Chandler (BLOODLINE). Just an average film, yet not a total waste; a solid 'C'.  

Watched 'ITECHO' (Amazon Prime). The point of the film is that a sexual outlier is just as tedious and uninteresting as anyone else. Unfortunately, it makes for a dull movie. From the thumbnail at IMDB: "This documentary captures over ten people who have various sexual identities in Japan. They are like a mirror reflecting you. They are sometimes called Hentai or perverts. But they live normally like you do, they also think they are normal people. They struggle with life and have difficulties like you. They live in the same world, breathe the same air. If we want to look for a difference, it might be that they don't compare or avoid people who are not like them. They accept everyone. Filmed in the Kansai Region and the city of Osaka, Japan.  Massage Parlor Rate Per Hour: $10,000 Japanese yen equals $63.30. 

1240pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a 5 mile walk on the treadmill. Most of last night's snowfall is gone.

540pm: In the tub with 'STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND' and listening to LED ZEPPELIN Playlist; KINGS OF LEON- 'Mechanical Bull'.

Began a YouTube video (1' 04") about how to evaluate quality cannabis; an interview with a 'ganjier' which is similar to what a 'sommelier' is to wine. This was actually an informative cannabis video. 

More 'HIGH TOWN' (Netflix). I shut it down 13 minutes into episode #4. The series is so funky; a low class affair that revels in it.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
