Watched 'ANIARA' (Hoopla). A large passenger ship leaves Earth for Mars and the voyage should take three weeks. They are knocked off course in a random meteor shower and lose the ability to steer toward Mars. On the upside, it's a giant 'cruise ship and a shopping center' and the rampant consumerism never stops. 'MIMA' is a supercomputer that provides a perfectly simulated Metaverse for passengers and when it goes down, mayhem ensues. It takes 5,981,407 years before the ship lands on a suitable planet. This is a serious yet sardonic comedy that feels almost believable... "How terror blasts in, how horror blasts out."   The film was shot in Stockholm, Sweden and the island of Gotland which is located in the Baltic Sea to the east of Oland. "61" Metascore and I would go to "84".

More 'PAPARAZZI KING' (Netflix). I shut it down about half way through the final episode with about thirty minutes left to go. 'The Life And Times of Fabrizio Corona'- I still don't get his appeal and I'll finish the series tonight.

440pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched 2 cannabis videos;  Is THCA as good as THC? No. Legal hemp as good as cannabis flower? No...according to them, but they consider every aspect of the cannabis experience, except 'how fucked up it gets you' and that is my number one priority.

540pm: In the tub with a little  'STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND' and listening to JOHNNY WINTER Playlist; JON SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION Playlist; a couple of YouTube videos about Sour Diesel; late 90's from upstate NY; seeds came from Grateful Dead followers at shows and the 'sour' seeds can from a variety from Amsterdam. A bucket said 'OUR' Diesel, and there was a '5' on the bucket and people thought it was an 'S'- hence, 'S-Our'. 

More videos about Sour Diesel. This is my favorite strain and it's the best Sativa I think I've ever had. 

More '11.22.63' (Netflix). I finished episode #6 and about 100 minutes remain in the series. I could finish it tomorrow morning....or not. The eye exam will be a factor in whatever I end up doing.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
