Watched 'FACE/OFF' (Netflix- leaving soon). This one was so bad it was good. The premise is that the Good Guy switches faces with the Bad Guy and even in a comic book it wouldn't be the slightest bit believable; with John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, Joan Allen, Gina Gershon, Nick Cassavetes, Margaret Cho. Directed by John Woo and therefore it follows that there will be lots of gun battles where people outrun fusillades of automatic weapons fire and cops & evil doers shoot 45 automatic handguns at each other (guns in both hands!) while jumping over a myriad of obstacles. However, the film does contain a noteworthy speed boat chase at the Port of Los Angeles near the end of the movie. The Metascore was "82" and not a single reviewer was below "70" and ROLLING STONE gave it "100". I'll go with "82" if only for the oddness of the whole project.

1010am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a visit to the eye doctor between sixth and fifth.

1015am-To the eye doctor; I have a 'freckle' on the back of my left eye. It's been there for years and he says it might turn (a very slight chance) into cancer, but he's keeping an eye on it so now I'll go in every six months. Home by 1225pm...and to FAMILY DOLLAR at Fairhills: bar soap, emergency candles, toothpaste:  $12.00 

1250pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; LIST on SHEEHAN podcast;  more '12.22.63' (Netflix).

***50 mg kicked in nicely. 1) Gummies must be taken on an empty stomach or at least a couple of hours after the last meal. 2) After ingesting the gummy, a brisk walk on the treadmill or the streets brings on the intoxication quicker and stronger.

Re-began 'HIGH TOWN' (Netflix- leaving soon). I watched 20 minutes of the final episode of season #2 and I shut  it down 37 minutes into the first episode of season #3. It looks like  Jackie is about to hit rock bottom. She's drunk and on Molly and looking for some coke 'to keep her up' so that she can help make a big bust in the Big Apple. Something very bad is about to happen.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
