Just as I started the film, I got a request for a restart. What's going on? That's been two or three major updates in the last ten days. 

Watched 'EDEN' (Netflix). Based on actual events and I liked this a whole lot more than I thought I would. I remember seeing a documentary about this weird German media super-story about 'the fall from paradise' that occurred during the 1930's; with Jude law, Ana de Armas, Vanessa Kirby, Daniel Bruhl. Directed by Ron Howard. Filmed in the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia but set in the Galapagos Islands 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador in South America. "58" Metascore and I think it's very underrated and I'd go to "85". From THE DAILY BEAST: "Never dull if also only intermittently surprising, it’s another of the director’s sturdy star-studded genre efforts." Wild Scenes: Giving birth while surrounded by a pack of feral dogs; The Baroness- the most evil & manipulative female character of all time; "I curse you with my dying breath"; The final credits roll over black and white footage of the real characters and their slices of paradise....lost. The people that believed most in 'family values' lasted the longest and one of the women lived on the island until she was in her 90's. 

Began 'GUNPOWDER, TREASON AND PLOT' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down 56 minutes into the three and a half hour film. This must have been released as a mini-series. Glimpses of very devious and wicked characters and it's hard to understand the absolute power that the corrupt nobility had over the people.  Mary, Queen of Scotland lived in France and was Catholic. Scotland was Protestant, but she claimed that Catholicism was her personal faith and she wouldn't force it on the people. They didn't believe her. "This is the way we've always done it"... "The strong must show that they are strong, that is their weakness". I also learned that Denmark had a line of kings that ruled England. Denmark was a real player in northern Europe going back to the 11th century. 

***About 11 am I noticed a truck from 'Maguire Wastewater Solutions' parked across the street. I didn't recognize the company and learned "...with over 37 years in the backhoe and septic industry...". The elderly couple across the street must be having some severe plumbing issues. 

125pm: The PC is 'Off' and will take advantage of the warm temperatures and hit the sidewalks for a long walk.

1pm- 3pm: To Washington Park...TWO HOURS...Fairway, Parkview, Wash.Pk southside, Wiggins, Outer Park, Lincoln, Leland, Dollar General, Walnut, Wash.Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Kenyon, and down to 940; audiobook 'GRAVE DANGER' the entire walk.

More 'IN THE MUD' (Netflix). I finished episode #7 and I'll save the final 55 minutes for tomorrow morning.

Watched 'THE SINGERS'- A group of sad men in a dive bar have a sing-off. Each singer/contestant (they're competing for a free beer and a hundred dollar bill) is better than the guy who went before and the final guy sings from German opera. (18" and Oscar nominated 'Best Short').

A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
