Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'THE ORPHANS' (Netflix). One cliche after another, but it's got some over the top car chases and ferocious gunfights. Premise: A young Frenchman leaves the scene of a fatal accident in which he killed a woman. This woman's daughter enlists the aid of her two fathers (?) to seek revenge...more or less. It's a pleasant action tale with lots of inventive 'boom-boom'. Set and shot near the coastal town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz in France's Basque country approximately 80 miles up the coast from Bilbao, Spain.

Finished 'AGATHA CHRISTIE'S SEVEN DIALS' (Netflix). Lady Eileen is recruited into 'The Seven Dials' or soon to be 'Eight'? Her mom was the bad guy and 'The Inspector' was the boss of 'The Seven Dials'. A little corny yet easily my favorite movie adaptation of an Agatha Christie novel. 

Began 'BEING GORDON RAMSAY' (Netflix). I shut it down 25 minutes into the first episode. I wonder what was in the massive hi-rise space before Ramsay built his new restaurant? I don't see any positive or redeeming qualities in Ramsay (he's a narcissistic blowhard!) so they'll really have to cook up a wholesome fantasy to win us over. I hope that the desperation will make it worth a look. 

1145am: The PC is 'Off' and not sure if I'll go to Planet Fitness and then County Market or hit the treadmill and then go to Fairhills. 

1240pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 30"Recumbent Bike, 30"Cross....TWO HOURS AND 30 MINUTES; watched 'UNTOLD: THE MURDER OF AIR MCNAIR'(Netflix)- A  married quarterback killed by girlfriend; a '48 HOURS' (Netflix)- Ex cop murders wife, then shoots her in the head and puts her body in the tub. He claims it was suicide; more WHITNEY CUMMINGS on 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK.

More 'BEING GORDON RAMSAY' (Netflix). I finished the second episode and now I'm hooked. Another carefully curated look at how wonderful the billionaire class is. They have families, responsibilities, careers, and disappointments, just like us regular folk. I don't buy it for a second.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.
