Watched 'BLUE MOON' (Netflix). It all takes place in a single evening in a NYC hotel bar after the premiere of the hit show, 'OKLAHOMA!'. Lorenz Hart ('a sensible alcoholic')  worked as the lyricist for the Broadway songwriting team of Rodgers & Hart and he unburdens himself about his personal and professional life while he was 'the toast of the town'. The witty observations and insightful commentary by a master of the English language make it very engaging; with Ethan Hawke, Bobby Cannavale, Andre Scott (RIPLEY), Margaret Qualley (ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD). "78" Metascore and I would go to "84".    

Watched the first episode of 'KILLER STORIES' (Netflix). This was my first 'Netflix Podcast' and it's like a non-fiction audiobook and would work just fine if you are only listening. A wealthy Oregon tree farmer is bilked out of his fortune by people he knew and trusted for years. The police actually came to him with the suspicious evidence that proved he was being defrauded.  

Began 'PLAYING GRACIE DARLING' (Netflix). An Australian 'Teen Scream' series involving missing teens and 'communication with the spirit world' and it's building very methodically. Hope the payoff is worth it and I'm in for more. The lead character refers to a blending of two names; "Joni Grey and Grace Darling" that equals "Gray Starling".  She calls this 'murmuration' and that word refers to birds flying together in shifting, cloud-like formations and also describes the low, continuous, and indistinct collective noise of a distant crowd. I shut it down 37 minutes into the second episode.  

***1115am: I noticed the van from PERFECT SOLUTIONS parked in front of the guy's house next door. They dropped off the sales rep to continue his 'cold calls' in The Oaks and I thought they were showing up very, very early for my appointment until I realized what was going on.

12pm: The PC is 'Off' and I'll read for a while before the 1pm appointment.

****115pm: I got a call from Perfect Solutions that they can't make it today. I rescheduled for 1pm tomorrow: We 2/18/26 at 1pm.

140pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; next episode 'KILLER STORIES' (Netflix)- A 'church lady's murders a woman for breaking up her imaginary affair with the local pastor; finished ARI SHAFFIR on 'TYSO'.

540pm: In the tub with 'THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO' and listening to KING CRIMSON- with Adrian Belew Playlist; OHIO PLAYERS Playlist.

Began 'CHURCH OF WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW- The New Testament'.

One more chance for 'THE ACCIDENT' (Netflix). I gave up on 'THE ACCIDENT' (Netflix) and began 'NOS4A2' (Netflix). This reminds me of Stephen King and concerns a sinister man who kidnaps children and takes them to 'a place where Christmas never ends'. I'll give it a shot, but there's plenty of fish in the sea.

Set in Haverhill, Massachusetts which is 35 miles north of Boston.
