Up 540am: Partly cloudy with temps to upper 20's. I noticed that the temps will rise to the lower 60's early next week. 

Watched 'LONE SURVIVOR' (Netflix). It's a superior 'action/adventure/military' film that's set during America's invasion of Afghanistan to crush the Taliban. A group of Navy Frogmen (?) are sent to a village for an extraction operation and get pinned down on a mountain. Great gunfights among the pines and even better scenes of men toppling down the mountain. It's a celebration of 'manly men' that could have featured John Wayne; with Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster, Eric Bana. Nominated for 2 Oscars; 6 wins & 16 nominations. "60" Metascore and I would go to "84". Although I did like the film, I would agree with the following; "20" Metascore: 'TIME OUT': "Berg may be adhering to the basic facts, but his movie’s childish machismo is a disgrace to all involved."  

1015am: I noticed a truck from Xfinity parked out front and I talked to the guy and he said that 'there was interference on the lines'.  They have not located the problem, but they think it involves cable on the pole that they put in last summer.   

Watched 'PARADISE' (Netflix). An Indian couple celebrates their 5 year wedding anniversary in the tropical paradise of Sri Lanka. Their hotel room is robbed and they lose their phones and laptops and hubby's Netflix deal was on the hard drives (he's too arrogant to back anything up?). The police chief grabs three youths (probably innocent) and beats a confession out of them. Later, the townspeople revolt and the chief takes a hatchet to the chest and the wife accidently shoots her husband in the head. An interesting look at 'entitlement' from a different perspective. Filmed in Sri Lanka.

1220pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a visit to the dentist. The plan is to hit Planet Fitness after the checkup.  

1pm: Left for the dentist & office is closed until 130pm on Wednesday. I had to wait in the parking lot and a half dozen other cars showed up. I was wondering about wearing sweatpants to the dentist, but I noticed that over half of the people (men and women) in the waiting room were wearing sweatpants. Out by 230pm: $66.00.  

***10 (?) nice rips on the disposable vape. Really got off; 1st time this high on a disposable. There's plenty of juice left, but I must get some more of these. Remember to ask for Delta 9 instead of Delta 8 or whatever is the more potent.

More 'TELL ME YOUR NAME' (Netflix). I shut it down 20 minutes into episode #4. Now the village Catholic priest is going to give the Muslims some help in the exorcism. The Koran allows the priest to speak with the demon, whereas the Catholic ritual doesn't allow the clergyman to communicate with the spirit. I wonder if this is based on facts in the Koran.
