Up 730am: Today we're in for some seriously deranged weather. A strong thunderstorm rolled through about 830am and a chance of storms and strong winds throughout the day. Temps are to hit the low 60's, but tonight the forecast includes 'patchy blowing snow after midnight'. Tomorrow's high temps are not expected to crack 30 degrees.

Weekly Cleaning

***840am: I took 1/4 of a 100 mg VIIA 'Day Drift': 25 mg total. This is the first time I've felt like getting high in many days. I'll find out if there is any validity to a 'temperance break'. 25 mg was a nice lift, but I much prefer the flower. The buzz lasted for a good three hours plus.

Watched 'NOBODY 2' (Netflix). It's a tight and well written spoof of an Action Film hero. It's not as good as 'NOBODY', but this one has got a plethora of innovative fisticuffs and buckets of hand to hand mayhem. The entire idea of a modern family actually visiting a 60's styled theme park is completely unexpected, but works well as satire. Filmed in and around Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Lilac Resort is southeast of Winnipeg and north of the US border with Canada at North Dakota; with Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, Christopher Lloyd, John Ortiz, RZA, Sharon Stone. Toby Maguire was an executive producer. "59" Metascore and I would go to "76". THE FILM VERDICT: "Stripped of the twists and surprises that made the first one such a sleeper hit, this sequel nonetheless delivers breezy, bone-crushing entertainment for undemanding late-summer audiences."

Watched part of an episode of '35 SERIAL KILLERS THE WORLD WANTS TO FORGET' (Amazon Prime)- A profile of Dr. Harold Shipman who was an elderly family practitioner who was actually killing his female patients with overdoses of morphine. He was convicted of murdering fifteen women, but he was probably responsible for as many as 250 deaths. "Dr. Death".

Many minutes fucking around with trying to stay with 'Georgia' font when using notepad. Makes no fucking sense and no fucking end in sight.

1155am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for another slower walk on the treadmill.

1205pm:  FIVE MILES AT 3.6 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  watched MARK NORMAND & SAM MORRIL on 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?; watched a BILL MAHER on HBO.

Began reading 'VICTIM: THE OTHER SIDE OF MURDER' by GARY KINDER

340pm: TWO MILES AT 3.6 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; I got on the treadmill early because heavy storms should hit around 5pm; watched the latest 'CHURCH OF WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW.

I took the last lung congestion pill; {1 pill twice daily} and I feel very close to normal.

Torrential downpour 515pm- 530pm; One to three inches of snow predicted for tonight & tomorrow along with buckets more rain.

540pm:   In the tub with 'VICTIM' and listening to MILES DAVIS Early Playlist; DAVE HOLLAND QUARTET- 'Conversations With Birds'.

Began THEO VON on 'BAD FRIENDS'.

More 'SALVADOR' (Netflix).

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home.
