***Today's 50 mg 'energized' with the cold meds & hit like a sledgehammer.   

Up 730am{The nights are torture}. Partly cloudy with a chance for showers all day and temps to upper 50's. 

Watched a 3 part mini-series 'A FRIEND, A MURDERER' (Netflix). It's about a group of young Danish people who were friends for over fifteen years. They're shocked to learn that one of the guys in the group was a rapist, kidnapper, and murderer. It's kind of a Danish 'DR. JEKYLL & MR. HYDE'.  

Watched 'INSIDE THE EDGE: A PROFESSIONAL BLACKJACK ADVENTURE' {1'12"} (Amazon Prime). A professional gambler from Las Vegas spends a year in an RV traveling across the US and 'card counting' at blackjack in every casino he sees. These days it's very hard to 'have an edge' because the casinos are ever vigilant. I thought it was odd that even after being kicked out, the casino must let him cash out. They tried, but when he called the 'real' cops, they folded. 

Today, I feel completely whacked out. I've got to get more meds, apples, & vitamins at Supplement Store

'SUBCLADE K ' is a variety of flu virus. The vaccine doesn't work for this strain and now it's dominant. 

Feeling weak & poorly and I feel like it would be beneficial to get this out of the way. Preparing for The Supplement Shop & then Schnucks for cold meds & apples. 

130pm- 215pm: To vitamin shop, then Schnucks for 2 packs of cold meds & apples.

***On the way back I skidded to a stop at Laurel & Chatham. There was a cop on Laurel facing west. I was sure he would pull me over, but now I'm not even sure he noticed. Very Scary.

Reading & finished 'SUICIDE BLONDE' by DARCEY STEINKE. 

540pm: In the tub to begin 'MANHATTAN IS MY BEAT' by JEFFERY DEAVER and listening to KING CRIMSON- 'Radical Action'; ALLAN HOLDSWORTH Playlist. 

Watched 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK' Solo Edition.

Began 'UNFAMILIAR' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down 8 minutes into episode #2. This is an engaging German 'spy thriller'. 'What happened in Belarus 16 years ago?  "The Days Are Short, but The Years Are Long".

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home.
