815am {1/2 VIIA 'Day Drift' (green) 100 mg: 50 mg total). 110pm (4 hits- B: Hybrid Popcorn...moderate relief, massive coughing fit). 5pm (GB: 6 rips/ Frozen Lemonade.. went down a little better).

Up 7am-8am: Very sick and I didn't get much (any?) sleep; just waiting for the decongestant drugs to kick in. A rainy day with temps in the upper 40's. 

Watched 'ACCUSED' (Netflix). A female Indian surgeon working in metropolitan hospital is accused of sexual misconduct. I suppose that because she's a lesbian in a position of power, it makes the premise somewhat different. The bad guy was an insecure man who was envious of her influence and position. Not much of a revelation and barely worth a look.   

The cold or flu is settling in and I'm worse than yesterday. Last night was one of the worst I've ever spent. It's pure hell to be so exhausted yet nearly no sleep. More antihistamines and I wish I could get up for some of the flower, but I'm too sick. 

Watched 'The Covenant' (Netflix). Set during America's war in Afghanistan a US sergeant is wounded and his Afghan translator drags him to safety over 100 kilometers of enemy territory . Months later the American stages his own extraction of the man and his family. When America pulled out of the country, the 'collaborators' with the Americans were left behind for the Taliban. Directed by Guy Ritchie; withJake Gyllenhaal, Dar Salim. I had seen this one before but somewhat worth another look. "63" Metascore and I would go to "77".   

Began a three part mini-series 'EXPOSED: THE CASE OF KELI LANE' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down 20 minutes into the second episode. A popular and active Australian woman gives birth to six children by the time she's reached her early twenties. Where are the babies? 

I feel completely wiped. I haven't felt this bad since I don't remember when. The plan is to read and possibly get on the treadmill...or not, and 'or not' happened. 

315pm: PC  is 'Off' 

510pm: [Too early?]...In the tub with 'SUICIDE BLONDE' and listening to 'O'JAYS Playlist; GOV'T MULE- 'Live at Roseland Ballroom'; MILES DAVIS- 'Live Vienne Festival 1991...2 Hour Plus Soak & the best I've felt since late last week; hope it lasts.

Began 'THE CHURCH OF WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW'- THE NEW TESTAMENT.

More 'EXPOSED: THE CASE OF KELI LANE' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down with 48 minutes remaining in the series. Charging somebody with murder without a body is a tough row to hoe and the state is going to need some ironclad circumstantial evidence and lots of it.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home.
