Up 6am: Morning showers give way to cloudy skies, breezy with temps to about 60.

Watched '10 x 10' (Netflix). Another film where suspension of disbelief is imperative. A man kidnaps a woman in the parking lot of an LA Fitness in suburban Atlanta. For over half of the film it isn't revealed why the man has taken this woman. The answer is so far-fetched that the action might as well have occurred in an alternative universe. The kidnapped woman was a nurse (she's assumed the identity of her dead twin) and was a kind of 'angel of death' and she wants a new start away from the hospital authorities, the police, and the media. The kidnapped woman killed the man's wife because she was cheating on him and the nurse liked to punish sinners. File under 'torture porn' at no more than 'one thumb', and forget it.  Shot in London for interior scenes yet most of the movie was filmed in Georgia for exterior scenes and location shots; 'Goober & Peach' in Duluth, GA, 'LA Fitness' in Sugar Hill, GA, Lake Lanier Parkway. 

Watched 'Clicka' (Netflix).  A rapper of Mexican-American music becomes a drug & money courier to finance his musical dreams, but he gets caught up in the gangster world. There was a storyline, but none of the characters acted anything like real people so the film feels false or contrived; Jay Dee (plays 'Clika' and he is also a comedian and a writing consultant for 'Chappelle's Show), Eric Roberts, Peter Greene (USUAL SUSPECTS, PULP FICTION). In the movie Peter Greene looks very rough, like he's dying. I checked to see if he was still alive and learned that he died in his New York City apartment in December 2025. He was 60 and died from an accidental gunshot wound to his left armpit. Sounds more than a little like a suicide to me. The protagonist's first run for the drug crew was to drive from Yuba City, CA to San Bernardino, CA and that's about 480 miles and eight hours of driving time.

1130am: I got a prompt for a 'restart' but it only took about a minute and a half. 

More 'Jo Nesbo's DETECTIVE HOLE' (Netflix). I shut it down 30 minutes into the second episode. I have made a note to read a library eBook by Nesbo (there are a bunch of them) using Hoopla. 

Constipation is an issue, and I don't know whether I'll spend another day on the treadmill or head to Planet Fitness. I absolutely MUST make it to a grocery store for cookies & cakes. [1235pm- 'The Remedy & it's a 'Go' for Planet Fitness].

1225pm: The PC is 'Off' and weighing the alternatives....

1pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 22"Recumbent Bike, 23"Cross; TWO HOURS AND 15 MINUTES; watched documentary 'THE TRUTH AND TRAGEDY OF MORIAH WILSON' (Netflix)- Moriah gets murdered by her boyfriend's 'other' girlfriend. They were all involved in competitive cycling; more 'SOUTHLAND' (Netflix).

A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
