Watched 'THE ORPHANS' (Netflix).  I had seen this within the last couple of months so I kept searching. Opening Scene: Fencing using sticks similar to pool cues. The major storyline is a rich and entitled young man drives away from a car accident where a passenger in the other car dies. It was the driver's mother and she tried to locate & punish the coward who took to the hills...or something like that.   

Watched 'THE OUTRUN' (Netflix). I had also seen this one before, but it must have been ages ago. A powerful tale of a woman fighting personal problems who attempts to control the negative emotional turbulence with liquor, and things are not going her way. 'AA' offers only a one in ten chance, but it's her only hope. Nominated for 2 BAFTA Awards; 7 wins & 31 nominations. "72" Metascore and I would go to "88". She sees (and hears) the Corncrake for the first time as she is leaving the island. The Corncrake is a protected bird species in the Orkney Islands, known for its harsh, grating "crek-crek" call. INDIEWIRE-..."nonlinear approach allows the film to ride the tidal rhythms of addiction..."  

More 'JO NESBO'S DETECTIVE HOLE' (Netflix). Several murders are discovered and solved over the course of the series and these connections were a little confusing. The opening scenes of the very first episode involve a bank robbery. Why did the disguised bank robber shoot one of the female employees? That woman was his wife and the bank robbery was just an excellent cover for her murder. One of the other murderers put his dead wife in his waterbed and these two killings support the theory that 'it's usually the husband'. The final confrontation between Hole and 'the evil detective', Tom Waaler, involves the loss of an arm in an elevator accident. This was a fresh, unexpected, & horrific turn of events. The writers leave the door wide open for another season because Harry makes a deal to work undercover for another boss at headquarters, but it seems that she is also one of the 'evil' cops.   

1230pm:  The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a workout at Planet Fitness. I must remember to get the gas can filled on the way home. I have forgotten this chore two times.

It seems a little high, but I guess it could include makeup and special things tied to the nuptials. It's for her wedding, so everything is marked up. I shut it down 31 minutes into the second episode. All of these people were deeply troubled individuals way before they won 'seven figures'. It's hard to believe the statistics about how many people lose their money (regardless of the amount) in just a few years. There is no doubt that I would be a perfect recipient and I would never 'run through' the money. But I guess everyone says that.
