Watched 'VIDAAMUYARCHI' (Netflix). It had a fine idea that kinda got lost in the shuffle. Premise: The kidnappers convince the woman that her husband was behind her abduction. And, they make the husband believe the same grift, only she was responsible for his kidnapping. How that proposition worked out would have made a much better story. However, the film features a Russian gang who performed plastic surgery on the kidnapped women and then used them as prostitutes in Russia. The man reports his wife's abduction at a police station in Sheki, Azerbaijan. It's a crazy 'road trip' film through the South Caucasus region which is situated at the intersection of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. The action occurs about halfway between Baku, on the east and Tbilisi, Georgia on the west. The kidnappers ask the husband for $40,000 Azerbaijani Manats in ransom and that's about $23,500 usd. The gang estimated his worth at $1.6 million Manats and that's $941,000 usd. The film was shot in Azerbaijan.

Watched episode #5 (last episode of season #1) 'HOMICIDE NEW YORK- East Harlem Serial Killer' (Netflix). Seven rapes and three murders over nine years and the perp gets sentenced to over 400 years in prison.
