***Goddammit, a fucking prompt to 'restart' right as I was preparing to begin the film. Completed in under three minutes and now I get a list of what is to be done. The last couple of updates have targeted the 'drivers' and I wish them well. {Later in the afternoon I read an online article saying that Microsoft will require more 'restarts' this month. They're making some big changes to Windows 11 and Windows 10 will be dropped in October}.  

Watched 'THOSE WHO REMAINED' (Amazon Prime). A strange film about a teenage girl and her lonely gynecologist. Set in Hungary in 1948, the country is now under the control of the Soviets and the people are suffering various traumas and deprivations from the end of the war. Both the doctor and the girl are survivors of the German concentration camps. The girl is living with her aunt and the doctor lives alone, but soon they move in together but it's all strictly platonic, father-daughter relationship. I didn't understand much of it because it was a difficult film and the subtitles seemed to lag or have nothing to do with the action. "78" Metascore and I was surprised by the high rating and I would put it at "74".

Watched 'EASY RIDER' (Amazon Prime). I thought that I was watching the 'real' film, but this was a sequel called 'EASY RIDER 2: THE RIDE BACK' and it was terrible. 

I switched to 'THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY' (Netflix). A gaggle of guys are in love with the same Mary. It's got a zillion silly, crude & hilarious bits; 1) jump start the terrier, 2) hair gel on the ear, 3) prom-night zipper problems; with Cameron Diaz, Matt Dillon, Ben Stiller, Chris Elliott, Lin Shaye, Jeffrey Tambor, Sarah Silverman, and Harland Williams talking about 'The Seven Minute Abs'. 17 wins & 17 nominations; "69" Metascore and I would go to "81". {a cameo by Brett Favre- the quarterback involved in the Mississippi Welfare Scandal}. Directed by The Farrelly Brothers.

1215pm: The PC is 'Off' and time to mow the grass. 

1235pm- 145pm: Mowed, swept, trimmed a few branches at the security fence, put a little salt on weeds on the driveway & hacked a few weeds next door out front.

A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside.
