Watched 'BARBER' (Kanopy). A private investigator from Dublin, Ireland is hired to find a 20 year old missing girl. It's the standard 'PI-Missing Person' genre plotline, but what makes it different is that it's a pro-gay movie and Val Barber is bisexual and no shame is attached. He has an affair with a man and a woman. However, the 'Big Reveal' is that the grandmother was really helping her granddaughter (who wasn't missing) to expose a high ranking official who was sexually abusing young girls (masturbating in front of them). Grandma & 'the missing girl' were using Barber to flush out more victims of the sexual predator. I liked this film a lot and it was shot on the mean streets of Dublin within three miles of the O'Connell Bridge.

Began 'THE LAZARUS PROJECT' (Netflix).  I sensed that I'd seen this somewhat recently so I gave it a 'thumb's up' & switched to something else. [Cannabinoids & Terpenes in synergy]

Watched 'FROM THE ASHES: THE PIT' (Netflix). This is the second film of a series that's set in a girls high school in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The first movie (I won't be seeing it) was about a fire at the girl's madrasah and this one documents a pit that opens on the school grounds during a torrential rain. Three girls are trapped in the subsequent collapse and the whole thing is silly beyond belief. It's a very 'pro Muslim' film and an arranged marriage is even seen in a positive light. I wonder if even Saudi audiences found this silly drama a bit too sappy.  

Began an episode of 'FATAL FRAUD' (Amazon Prime). Two young men from Neptune City, New Jersey conspire to murder a friend who inherited $38,000 in cash. The cash was found after the girl's mother died and she kept it. The two boys made a plan to steal the money and one of them strangled the girl and then they threw the body off the Belmar drawbridge. 

 The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill. 

1235pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; TUESDAYS WITH STORIES at the Improv with guests; began a 'THE CHURCH OF WHAT'S HAPPENING' with a pro boxer.

Reading 'THE DEVIL'S WALTZ' & listening to SONNY ROLLINGS. He died yesterday at age 95.

540pm:  In the tub with 'THE DEVIL'S WALTZ' and listening to RUSH Playlist/ 'Snakes and Arrows'. 

Finished PATTON OSWALT on DAN SODER & began DL HUGHLEY on 'UNCERTAIN'.

More 'PARISH' (Netflix). I shut it down 15 minutes into episode #5. I could finish this tomorrow morning.
