Up 6am: Threat of thunderstorms all day (about one inch expected) with temps to about 80. A 'Flood Watch' is in effect until early tomorrow morning. 930am: No rain yet (10am huge downpour), but the radar map shows bright orange and red for late morning. It doesn't look good. {No violent storms; just a lot of water. Over two inches and I moved the old rain gauge to the planter on the from stoop. It should have been here all along}.

***At 6am I heard a lugger being delivered to the abandoned house next door. The driver must have ripped down a tree branch and it's still hanging from the tree over their driveway. Later a pickup & trailer in the driveway and front door propped open. Change is coming.

Watched 'FALL FOR ME' (Netflix). A young woman and her older sister inherited a 'finca' from their mother's estate. Sexy swindlers try to get the property and use sex and deception to achieve their goal. In the end the older sister hooks up with the 'nice' swindler and the younger sister gets to open a 'B & B' on the island of Mallorca. A German production set in Mallorca and on par with a Lifetime movie with a little more sex. Definition of 'finca'- Wikipedia: "Especially in tourism, the term has recently gained the colloquial meaning of a holiday home in a rural setting, situated on the Spanish mainland, the Balearics, and the Canary Islands, and throughout the countries of Spanish-speaking Latin America. Filmed entirely on the island of Mallorca, Spain. The island is about 250 miles off the eastern coast of Spain in the Balearic Sea.

Watched 'MARTY, LIFE IS SHORT' (Netflix). He was the youngest in a family of five children and they were all funny people. I had forgotten how many great comedians are from Canada and the doc boasts a great comedic cast. Some bits are hilarious, but no family could be this 'rainbows & puppies'.  The film is dedicated to Catherine O'Hara and Katherine Elizabeth Short (Martin's oldest daughter). The documentary makes the whole family seem like one big laugh riot, but it couldn't have been too idyllic if his oldest daughter committed suicide. 

Wrote a brief Chat and was late for the treadmill, however the bad weather has passed by.

More 'IN THEMUD' (Netflix). I shut it down 5 minutes into episode #6. Fast paced storyline and always visually exciting.
