Weekly Cleaning

Later I'm going to call Janny and tell her I won't be visiting. I want to stay home and keep an eye on the sump pump. It has kicked off and I want to make sure that it's operating throughout today's downpours.

Watched 'I SAW THE TV GLOW' (Hoopla). Being stuck in an uncompromising alternative reality is straight out of the PK Dick playbook; 'Valis'. "Sometimes The Pink Opaque feels more real than the real world". Filmed entirely in New Jersey; Bergen, Essex, and Monmouth counties.

I watched a fifteen minute YouTube 'Ending Explained' and some clips featuring the director, Jane Schoenbrun. I think that the film was meant to artfully document some of his experiences & impressions as he transitioned from a man to a woman. In broad strokes the film is about the repression of legitimate homosexual feelings and how some people just give up and submit to hetero-conformity. 13 wins & 95 nominations. "86" Metascore and I would go to "90". At IMDB it got four "100's" & two "90's".

930am: I called Janny and she was understanding about my non visit. The same large blood red and orange splotches on the radar weather for late this afternoon. This could be really bad...again.  

More 'I WILL FIND YOU' (Netflix). I shut it down 29 minutes into episode #4. Fast paced, yet implausible.  

1145am: The PC is 'Off' and gonna jump on the treadmill as the storms roll in. Looks very bad after 4pm. 

1205pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; More 'I WILL FIND YOU' (Netflix); members of KING CRIMSON talk with RICK BEATO.

Finished MARC MARON interview & began a MARK NORMAND interview.

More 'POLYGAMIST' (Netflix). I shut it down 14 minutes into episode #14. Jonasi is sexually out of control, but will Joyce and Wife #2 be able to rein him in?
