***The 1/2 'Extreme Chill' this afternoon was a nice treat. However, it definitely hits better on an empty stomach, but an aerobic workout energizes the effect. I'm a 'Wake & Bake'  kinda guy.    

Began a Thai 'Blood/Guts/Action/Adventure', but dropped it within minutes. 'One Thumb Down' and on to something a bit more deep.

Watched 'MASS' (Netflix).  The parents of a school shooter meet with the parents of one of the boys that he shot and killed. For the first thirty minutes of the movie you have no idea what is taking place. A room in a church is being prepared for a meeting of some kind and then it becomes a deep dive into the meaning of grief and mourning. It makes you remember that the shooter had people who loved him and it's nearly impossible for them to accept the evil actions of someone who was once so valued and cherished. Do these loving feelings become irrelevant or even wrong?

Shot in Wood River, Idaho which is on the edge of Boise National Forest and in the middle of nowhere; with Jason Isaacs, Martha Plimpton, Ann Dowd, Reed Birney.

Nominated for 1 BAFTA Award; 47 wins & 88 nominations. "81" Metascore and I would go to "85".

Watched an episode of 'THE MEN WHO BUILT AMERICA: FRONTIERSMEN' (Netflix). I shut it down one hour into the second episode. Meriwether Lewis was a drunk and a genius. After they got back to civilization in 1805 he committed suicide. William Clark adopted the children of Sacagawea after she died unexpectedly in 1812. Tecumseh tried to unite the Indian tribes to defeat the invaders to their lands. 

1215pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk to Washington Park. It's a beautiful summer day.
