Up 610am: Hot & humid with temps to low 90's & Discomfort Index off the charts. Very violent weather to the north from Peoria to Milwaukee. 

Just as I was turning on the film I got a prompt to 'restart'; it took about 3 minutes.

Watched '12 HOUR SHIFT' (Netflix). An absurdist comedy that skewers White Trash characters; the writing is excellent. One night in a small hospital when a 'organs for money' plot is revealed. Mayhem ensues; written & directed by Brea Grant, produced by David Arquette.

"63" Metascore and I would go to "83". From THE A.V. CLUB- "The material is edgy and at times outrageously gory and chaotic, but Bettis gives Mandy an exhausted, fed-up quality that keeps the movie on track, even (or maybe especially) when she’s pissed off about having to do everything herself."

910am: The PC is 'Off' and out to tackle the lawn/gardens before it gets even more hot & humid (it's 83 with 73% humidity). 

 915am: Mowing...1010am: finished mowing and took 50 mg edible and trimmed the bushes/trees by the security fence. The guy next door talked to me as I finished mowing. I randomly mentioned that I wanted the pine tree removed and he said he could do it. He's going to get a price and get back to me by the weekend. He also made it clear that he was up for other odd jobs because he could use the money. There was a police car from the secretary of state in front of his house and he said that the straight truck had been 'repossessed' last week. The dealership did not secure the title and the previous owner tried to use the truck as collateral after it had been sold...or something. He also mentioned he might be getting back with his wife (her idea), they might move to Las Vegas or Atlanta, and something about the police (dealing with her; "she didn't press charges"). I was coming on to the edible and things were getting a bit surreal. The bushes are hacked back, the lawn is trimmed, and things look good. 

Another movie....Began 'AMERICAN HONEY' (Netflix). I've seen this one a few times and always enjoyed the portraits of 'youthful white trash'; Contemporary Hippies as Libertarian Capitalists; with Sasha Lane, Shia LaBeouf, Riley Keough. Filmed in Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, North Dakota, Iowa. "80" Metascore and three Metascores of "100"! I'd go to "94". 

230pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to read for a while and then do an hour on the treadmill. 

250pm: FOUR MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished NICK SWARDSON on BERT KREISCHER. 

***4pm: Huge downpour {Only a quarter inch, but it was torrential and 2 1/4 inches fell after midnight}

Reading 'ADULTHOOD RITES'

540pm:  In the tub with 'ADULTHOOD RITES' and listening to MANU DIBANGO Playlist; ADRIAN BELEW- 'Desire OF The Rhino King.

Finished a YouTube video about RON WOOD'S cocaine addiction. Wood was more of an addict than Richards. He was upset because he got a salary and no residuals. "He was just a highly paid hired hand". First he was a drunk and then geared up by freebasing crack cocaine. In 1990 the band relented and gave him royalties. Bill Wyman left the band the same year. 

***835pm: a request for a 'restart'. What's the deal with all the updates? {a big change coming at the end of June}

Watched 'WASHINGTON' more (Netflix). I shut it down with about 20 minutes remaining in the second episode.  Benedict Arnold was a successful officer in the Continental Army.
