Watched 'EMERGENCY' (Netflix). A Bollywood (occasionally the characters burst into song) biopic of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It was chock full of historical incidents that I had never heard of. She was from an Indian political dynasty. She 'stood off' the navy of the United States in the creation of Bangladesh. She and her son enacted a 'State of Emergency' that allowed her to shut down all opposition and run the country with an iron fist. If anything, the film dares you  to at least check her out on Wikipedia. It looks like the main points of the film are reasonably close to historical fact. From AI Mode:

Finished 'M3GAN 2.0' (Netflix). I watched about ten minutes and realized that I just didn't care how it ended. The observation that if you put AI in a machine, it will not ride shotgun was pretty good, but that's about it.

More 'TITANS: THE RISE OF HOLLYWOOD' (Netflix). I shut it down with about 20 minutes left in the series. FUN FACT: 'The Academy Awards' refers to the 'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' (AMPAS) which was a producer-controlled 'company union' designed to block independent labor unions.

Began 'BLOOD SISTERS' (Netflix). I shut it down 38 minutes into the first episode. Murder at an exclusive engagement party among the Black aristocracy of Nigeria. I'll be back for more.

A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside.
