Last night I took two 'blue' laxatives and relief came at 3am & 630am.

Watched 'ONE NATION ONE KING' (Kanopy). The POV is most definitely on the side of the 'revolutionaries', but their opponents' get a chance to present their side of the political argument. Big Decision: What to do with The King? The film tries to present 'the feel' of the era, so it's fairly subjective and characters are not fully developed. It could have been so much better, but still worth a look. The ideals of the American Revolution were first tested in France, but that would be another movie.  

1030am- 1045am: I answered the juror questionnaire. My electronic signature was on the card and if you are over 75, you don't have to serve so I said 'No'. And it looks like the violent storms are gone from the forecast, but it's so humid anything could happen. 

Began 'BACK IN ACTION' (Netflix). A married couple who happen to be ex CIA agents get called back into service after spending fifteen years as parents of two teenage children. Lots of flashy fisticuffs, stunning handgun violence, and dangerous driving, but it doesn't try to be too serious; with Jamie Foxx, Carmen Diaz, Kyle Chandler (BLOODLINE), Glenn Close, Andrew Scott). "46" Metascore and I would only go to "74".

1220pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing to walk on the treadmill. It's far too hot & humid to even think about going outside. Brutal. 

1240pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched an episode of 'TITANS OF WALL STREET'- Kennedy Senior made a killing on Wall Street by short selling the market, yet Roosevelt made him the first head of the Securities & Exchange Commission. A decade after the crash of 29, Charles Merrill reintroduced to the average American the value of investing in stocks;  began RICK BEATO with RON CARTER.

4pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began CHRIS DISTEFANO from his trunk in Philly with another comedian. 

Called Janny 430pm & 5pm; no answer. I got through at 725pm and only spoke for a couple of moments. She sounded wiped out and disoriented. This was very different from her first radiation experience last week. I said I'd call at 8am tomorrow morning. She did not sound good. 

540pm:  In the tub with 'THE FAMILY ARSENAL' and listening to DAVID BOWIE 'earl' Playlist all session. 

Finished CHRIS DISTEFENAO with MIKE CANNON from a trunk in Philly; watched RYAN SICKLER with CRISTINA MARIANI.

Began 'THE BOROUGHS' (Netflix). I shut it down a couple of minutes into episode #2. I'm not completely sold on the series, but I'm in for at least another episode. Alien creatures in a spooky Arizona retirement community?
