Up 555am: Partly cloudy and criminally humid with temps to mid 80's and a chance of thunderstorms. 

Weekly Cleaning. I was going to cut down some bushes in the backyard, but the guy next door was messing with his plants and I didn't want to draw him into the proceedings. 

Watched 'TOKYO COWBOY' (Kanopy). An uptight 'salaryman' working for a large Japanese corporation is sent to Montana to check out a recently acquired ranch. Either he finds a way to increase profits or the whole operation will be sold to the highest bidder. He knows nothing of how a ranch is run, and it's a classic 'fish out of water' tale until he learns to become 'one of the guys'. It never gets too corny (but close), and it's actually kind of touching. 'Wagyu'- Premium Japanese beef retailing between $120 and $300 per pound. Not strictly 'corn fed' but the cattle are raised on a high energy concentrated diet consisting of rice straw, whole crop silage, wheat, and corn. ken 'Batanga'- A Mexican cocktail made from blanco tequila, fresh lime juice, and cola in a highball glass; 'Cuba Libre' (rum and Coke).

Began the final episode of 'GLORIAVALE' (Amazon Prime); thirty-five minutes remain.

1050am: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for another visit to Planet Fitness. First, I'm going to cut a few limbs in the backyard. Our branch pickup begins tomorrow and I think that's it for a few months.

11am- 1140am: hack & prune: {The temperature is 78 with 82% humidity; smothering!}. Only a modest improvement. 

1205pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross, 30"Treadmill (stomach cramps), 15"Recumbent Bike, 30"Cross...TWO HOURS;  SOUTHLAND (Netflix); a 'HOMICIDE: NEW ORLEANS (Netflix)- A man is shot & killed in the French Quarter and the perp is caught on surveillance cameras. 

230pm:  To ARC [245pm- 345pm]- Tomorrow she has a 'portal' attached for later chemo treatments & a lung biopsy. I'll call late tomorrow afternoon. I spoke with Joe a couple of minutes in the lot as I was leaving. Early this morning she called him because she couldn't alert a nurse. She had dropped the call apparatus off her bed & couldn't move.

More 'THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE' (Netflix). I shut it down 24 minutes into episode #6. It's a well made Spy Thriller, but owes nothing to the PK Dick novel...nothing.
