Up 720am: {well rested...again}. Partly sunny with the threat of storms this afternoon and temps to 90 and Heat Index to 100. 

Watched 'MY SISTER'S BONES' (Hoopla). I didn't realize the extreme irony of the film's title until I was part way into the film. It's a complex tale of a dysfunctional family. A female war correspondent in her forties becomes attached to an orphan boy in war torn Iraq. The kid is imaginary and was brought on by trauma caused when as an eight year old she let her little brother drown at the beach. A lot of family drama is uncovered, and, much later, we learn that her brother in law was keeping his step daughter and child in an underground bunker on the property. I was into the film and it's one of the few times I think that a film would have worked better if it was longer. Filmed in Kent, England (Herne Bay, Whitstable) and Marrakesh, Morocco for the scenes that were in Iraq. Kent is in the far southeastern part of the country near Dover. 

Watched 'REWIND' (Amazon Prime). A young man's life was thoroughly documented on video tape, however, the most devastating aspect of his life is missing from the record.  When he was a young child he was raped by three of his uncles and the documentary attempts to set the record straight. One of the perps was the cantor for the largest Jewish temple in America and the craziest bit of information is that we learn that the boy's father was also a victim of his brothers' sexual perversities. 

1220pm:  The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to workout at Esporta and then visit ARC. I'm to arrive after 330pm because a close friend is supposed to visit Janny earlier this afternoon. I have a twelve pack of A & W Cream Soda, a new notepad, and a Planet Fitness pen for 'the patient patient'. 

1250pm:  To Esporta...45"Precor, 45"Treadmill, 30"Cross, 10" Recumbent Bike, 10" Precor; watched an episode of 'TERRORISM: CLOSE CALLS' (Netflix)- Israeli people against Gaza; religious fanatics on both sides; watched the last episode of 'THE GREAT WAR' (Netflix)- 11/11/18; STEVEN WRIGHT on HARVEY MANDEL podcast  

345pm- 435pm: ARC- Her friend left a half hour before I arrived. Joe was with Janny. We talked about old time & she was late getting her pain meds. She might be at Jamie's house by Monday  I'll see her on Sunday  

Reading 'IMAGO'

540pm: In the tub & finished 'IMAGO' and began MICHAEL MOORCOCK anthology & listening to CAPTAIN BEYOND (1st album. This music is terrific & definitely an overlooked classic)/ 'Sufficiently Breathless'; CARL HALL- 'Loma/ Atlantic:  1967- 1972'.

***When I logged on to the downstairs PC I got a prompt to 'restart' and it only took a few moments, but when I was ready to begin the series, I got another request. It says that I'm 'up to date', but I fucking hate Windows Updates! 

 Finished RICK BEATO with an ace producer.

More 'HUNTERS' (Netflix). I shut it down 39 minutes into episode #5. 'Cartoonish', but I'm liking it more and more.

A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home.
