Up 7am: A mix of sun & clouds, breezy with temps to mid 80's.

When I came back from the 1st GB of the day, I noticed a prompt to 'restart'. It only took a couple of minutes, but I am tired of the anxiety and why so many requests? Is it something in my system or is it a Windows problem with the 'Drop Windows 10' in October or is it the update itself?

Watched 'THE WOMEN IN THE LINE' (Netflix). It's a tale of a 'Mother's Love On Steroids'. One day police raid a middle class Argentinian home and a young man is taken into custody and immediately sent to a federal prison. Not once does mom wonder what he did or whether he was guilty. She foolishly insists that her 'perfect' boy is somehow above the law because she is his mother. The film's primary  focus is on the difficulty of prison visitations imposed on the families by the authorities. The movie is somewhat based on the life of Andrea Casamento who went on to form the 'Civil Association of Relatives of Detainees' (ACiFaD) and eventually serve on the United Nations 'Subcommittee for the Prevention of Torture' (SPT). And, she really did meet a man in prison who later became her husband.  

Watched another episode of 'THE AMERICAN EXPERIMENT' (Netflix). I finished the fourth episode which dealt with the Constitutional Convention of 1787. Only one episode remains. A great history series that's both informative and engaging.  

1215pm:  The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit Esporta and then home to call Janny. She's to leave ARC and be transported to Jamie's house at 11am this morning. She should be all settled in by late this afternoon. 

1245pm:  To Esporta...45"Precor, 45"Treadmill, 30"Recumbent Bike, 15"Recumbent Bike, 15"Precor...TWO HOURS AND 30 MINUTES;  Watched all of 'HURRICANE' (Netflix)- I've got to check the internet to see how much of this is fact. Did three Canadians help Carter to get out of prison? {the ending credits say it's true}. The film is a bit romanticized, but worth a look; with Denzel Washington, Deborah Kara Unger, Liev Scheiber, John Hannah, Debbi Morgan (ALL OF MY CHILDREN), Rod Steiger. "74" Metascore and I would go to "76". VILLAGE VOICE- "Far too tepid". 

415pm- 445pm: Call to Jamie's house and she's settled in and happy to be out of 'the institution'. I will call Friday afternoon to learn about her first radiation treatment.  

Reading 'A RIP IN HEAVEN'

545pm:  In the tub with 'A RIP IN HEAVEN' and listening to ROD STEWART- 'Atlantic Crossing'; BOZ SCAGGS Playlist. 

Finished BO DEREK on 'CLUB RANDOM' and a YouTube video about The Stones- focus on MICK TAYLOR and WAYNE PERKINS.

More 'HUNTERS' (Netflix). I finished the penultimate episode of season #1 and I'll save the final episode and watch that before I begin the second season. I put it in the calendar three months from today. 

Began 'THE HAWK' (Netflix). Will Ferrell as  a goofy professional golfer, and I'm not entirely sold, but good for at least another look....Fun Fact: "Baby Ruth" candy bars are named after Grover Cleveland's daughters. Nothing at all to do with Babe Ruth. AI Mode says that there is a Babe Ruth connection. The company wouldn't have to pay the ballplayer by saying it was named after Cleveland's daughter even though everyone knew it was a tribute to 'Babe'.
