Up 640am: A mix of sun & clouds with temps to about 86. 

***PC is acting funny. A momentary blackout when I close a tab. I'll 'restart' when I finish the movie. Is it tied to Windows Updates or is it 'Drivers' (of which I have only a vague understanding). 

930am: They picked up my branch pile. Unfortunately, the streetsweeper went by about an hour before.

Watched 'TRAITOR' (Tubi). A devout Muslim man is an expert with explosives and he seems to be supplying terrorist cells all over the globe with Semtex. He's actually a 'secret agent' working for the FBI, and only his handler knows the truth, and then his handler is killed; with Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Said Taghmaoui, Neal McDonough. "61" Metascore and I would go to "80". CHICAGO SUN-TIMES (Roger Ebert)- "The movie proceeds quickly, seems to know its subject matter, is fascinating in its portrait of the inner politics and structure of the terrorist group, and comes uncomfortably close to reality. But what holds it together is the Cheadle character." TERRORIST OBJECTIVE: On Thanksgiving Day fifty different buses on highways all over the USA will be carrying a passenger with a suitcase bomb. All of the suitcase bombers are to detonate at the same time and this will strike fear into the hearts of Americans. Terrorism is theater and the objective is to instill the feeling that nowhere is safe. Islam means 'submission'. 

1030am: I'm doing a 'restart' to see if it corrects the 'momentary blackouts'. And, it's Tuesday and that should be the regular 'restart' day.  The 'restart' only took a couple of moments, but I still got a 'blackout' when I opened Netflix. The big rollout is for mid July, and I'll see if that sticks and provides a remedy. 

More 'TITANS: THE RISE OF HOLLYWOOD' (Netflix). First there were 'shorts', then the features got longer when they introduced 'films of plays'. This caused distributors to balk because they were charging for 'shorts' that were only fifteen or twenty minutes long. They'd have to charge more for something that nobody wanted. Then Mary Pickford had the idea to shoot novels and this new 'long form' took hold. I shut it down 22 minutes into the third episode. 

1140am: The PC is 'Off' and I don't know whether to hit the street or hit the treadmill.

4pm:  FOUR MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began an interview with MARC MARON; began a 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'- with a bunch of comedians. 

535pm: In the tub with 'ROUGH MIX' and listening to BOB DYLAN- 'Highway 61'/ 'Blonde'/ 'Live'.

Finished SHERYL CROW on 'CLUB RANDOM'.

More 'THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE' (Netflix). I shut it down 12 minutes into episode #8. It's got the inner turmoil and dread of the world of spy craft, and now, a love triangle.

A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home.
