Up 530am: A mix of sun & clouds with temps almost to 90. 

When I powered up the PC I updated Google Chrome and things aren't as 'buggy' as they were yesterday. It seems to happen when I connect with Netflix and Amazon Prime. It's just a 'blink of black' and then it catches.  

Watched 'PAGGLAIT' (Netflix). An Indian woman's husband has died and the family has gathered for his 13 day Hindu cremation.  It's odd that it's never revealed how the man died and although the widow learns that he had a girlfriend, it's OK. She meets the woman and it dawns on her that maybe she wasn't all that close to her husband after all. Could it be that arranged marriages are not so hot? The widow realizes that she must take control of her life or people will always make decisions for her. Although when she cuts ties with her family 'to fulfill her destiny', she leaves the insurance money with her family.  The man's life insurance policy was for $5,000,000 Indian rupees and that's about $52,400 usd.  'Pagglait' translates to 'crazy girl' or 'madwoman' in Hindi and Bengali. Filmed in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in 2019. That's in northeastern India approximately 100 miles from Nepal.

More 'TITANS: THE RISE OF HOLLYWOOD' (Netflix). Using 'Fox' for Murdoch's 'Fox News' goes back to William Fox who ran studios at the beginning of Hollywood. Murdoch capitalized on the brand name of 'Fox'.  Rin-Tin-Tin was a movie series for Warner Brothers before it was a TV show. 

1105am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to workout at Esporta, get a carwash at Green, and hit Schnucks for apples, men's vitamins, and diet Squirt for Janny. Then, for a visit at ARC. 

1135am:  To Esporta...45"Precor, 45"Treadmill, 30"Cross, 15"Recumbent Bike, 15"Precor...TWO HOURS AND 30 MINUTES;  watched 'THE GIRL IN THE PICTURE' (Netflix)- A father and daughter are really a kidnapper and his victim. He pulled it off for 15 years & even got away with a couple of murders; more 'TITANS: THE RISE OF HOLLYWOOD'.

Green, Schnucks: $23.00- ARC 310pm- 410pm. She filled the visit with a blizzard of talk and I could barely get in a word. This must be her method of coping. I very briefly spoke with Joe in the parking lot on the way out. We marveled that a drug could be worth $24,000 per dose.

Began MARK NORMAND on MAURY POVITCH and began a CHURCH OF WHAT'S HAPPENING.

More 'THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE' (Netflix). I shut it down 9 minutes into the ninth episode. I could finish the series tomorrow morning, but I hope I mow the lawn instead.
