 Th 10/29/26

745am {VIIA- one gummy 'BLUE MIND BLOOM': 10 mg Amanita Mushroom, 35 mg THC....trying for the 1st time}. 750am (GB: 5/ Red Congolese). 1055am (4-B: Hammerhead). 1235pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese). 535pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese). 830pm (GB: 5/ Hammerhead).

Up 7am: Partly cloudy with temps to mid 70's.

Watched 'IKKA' (Netflix). "Corny & Over-Acted". A man from a wealthy and politically powerful family is accused of rape and murder. Even though the man is clearly guilty, his crack defense lawyer must get him off or his pre-teen daughter dies.  The defendant is the girl's natural father and she needs a bone marrow transplant or she dies of leukemia. This legal thriller was so unlikely that it pushed the boundaries of even Bollywood melodrama. A character is offered a job paying $1.2 million Indian rupees per annum and that is approximately $12,600 usd.

1045am: The single gummy was a pleasant & well modulated blast and I wonder if it was the mushrooms that gave it that extra panache.  According to the label- "Clear your schedule if you take two"...indeed.

I began 'THE FALL OF EL MAYO: THE MAN IN THE HAT;' (Netflix). It's about two international drug lords with radically different styles. El Chapo was like America's flamboyant John Gotti (The Dapper Don) and El Mayo (The Man In The Hat) also made billions but stayed in the shadows.

1215pm:  The PC is 'Off' and preparing to visit Planet Fitness.

1250pm: To Planet Fitness... 45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 20"Recumbent Bike, 25"Cross; watched documentary 'NORM: THE TALE OF NORM MACDONALD' (Netflix)- Funnier and fiendishly more clever than 90% of the stand-up world: Observation:  HARLAND WILLIAMS & NICK SWORDSON are his comedy brothers in arms.

Home to finish 'JACK BRUCE:  COMPOSING HIMSELF' by HARRY SHAPIRO.

540pm: In the tub to begin 'WHAT WE KEEP' by ELIZABETH BERG and listening to JOHN LURIE- 'Mystery Train'/ 'Fishing With John'; LITTLE VILLAGE 'album'; BOB DYLAN- 'Shot Of Love'.

Watched 'LAST WEEK TONIGHT'- The Republican Party & THE FAR RIGHT.

More 'THE FALL OF EL MAYO' (Netflix). The Sinaloa Cartel is headquartered in Culiacan, Mexico (Northwestern Mexico) and is the capital of the state of Sinaloa and its largest city. I shut it down 35 minutes into the second episode.

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy  735am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 820am (3 hits-B: Citrus Mac).  1215pm [I took 1/3 of 'VIIA' 100 mg: 33 mg total].(1-LB: Citrus Mac).  240pm (4 hits-B: Diablo's Hearse). 435pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 530pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 815pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 630am: Rain was "in the area", but missed Westview and more sunny & unseasonably warm weather with temps close to 90. {No rain in a long time & it's getting crunchy}  About 730am several 'tree trimming' trucks arrived and parked just down the street. I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. They disappeared by 10am and I think they were at the house 'with the indoor whirlpool'.  Watched 'UPGRADE' (Netflix).  A very fine 'Dystopian/ SciFi' genre film about a couple in Melbourne ("in a not too distant future") who are in their 'auto...

Tu 9/30/25- Flu Shot/ COVID/ Gummy

Tu 9/30/35- Flu Shot/ COVID/ Gummy 730am (1-LB: a mix of Diablo's & Citrus). 815am (1/2-B: Diablo's Hearse). 1255pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 1pm [I took 1/2 'DIET SMOKE]. 250pm (1/2-B: Citrus Mac). 435pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 810pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac).  Up 635am: Sunny & unseasonably warm with temps almost to 90. Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland. "83" Metascore and I would go to "91".  Watched 'BEYOND TRAINSPOTTING: The World Of Irvine Welsh' (Kanopy). An excellent profile of t...

Su 8/9/26

Su 8/9/26 820am (GB: 5/ Durban Poison). 320pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese).  535pm (GB: 6/ Durban Poison). 830pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese).  Up 635am: Hot & humid with temps to upper 80's and a 'Heat Advisory' is in effect. Weekly Cleaning & I tried to add 'uBlock Origin' to the upstairs PC, but it said I already have it. I rejected all ads at Accuweather and it makes the site watchable. This feature is not available at The Weather Channel. I had planned to try a visit to Pleasant Plains in the morning, but constipated so I think I'll hit it later. Watched 'CHIEF OF STATION' (Netflix). A former CIA Station Chief's wife is killed in an 'accidental' explosion and then accused of being a double agent. Hubby goes rogue to find his wife's killers. Very lame and highly forgettable; with Aaron Eckhart (Alec Baldwin was first on their list). I had planned to visit Plains earlier, but constipation is an issue. 1025am- 205pm; home by 230pm call Joe...
