Read 50 pages of OUTLANDER 4am-445am; Up at five. Another dreary, mostly cloudy day, but a bit warmer. Temps to hit the mid 70's, and by early afternoon there wasn't a cloud in the sky; a bit of a breeze from the south.

Watched an interesting British film called ANTI-SOCIAL. A graffiti artist gets tangled up in the 'smash and grab' world of gangs, jewelry theft, and fast motorcycles in urban London. Then, episode #1 of MIND HUNTER. Called 'Your Benefits' to get some more forms. No need right now, but I'll be seeing Ellison in a week. 

Read OUTLANDER on the couch for about an hour. 1215pm biked to Planet Fitness. 45" Walk. 3.6/0. 45" Recumbent Bike (OUTLANDER). 45" Cross. 30" Bike. 30" Cross. Home to shower and I used the water pik to try to clear some of the wax out of my right ear- limited success. 

Read BOTTOM FEEDER BLUES for 45" downstairs (Live Pearl Jam; WXRT Live Series. BRAVEHEART and CASINO arrived in the mail; also a hardback novel- I think the December selection for the book club. 'BH' tonight- it's a three hour haul, so finish tomorrow morning. 

605pm- After one beer, and the beginning of BRAVEHEART, I took a look at the back lawn and saw that it was kind of shaggy, and the the revised weather report said rain late tonight and possibly tomorrow, and a neighbor on Parkview was mowing....so....I mowed half the back lawn, and the front (610pm- 650pm), and even raked the dense areas in the back. When I finished it was too dark to see, but I'm sure it's an improvement; I even threw away the dying flowers in the two boxes adjacent to the front door....5 beer night. Awoke at 430am and felt like death on a Triscuit. Up at 720am.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 35 MINUTES; ORNETTE COLEMAN Playlist; began a J.R.E. with an English podcaster. 9am: Janny called and they will be here after their appointment with Dax at 10am.   Watched more of 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix)- The Belgian soap opera of 'all the beautiful people'. 1045am- 1235pm: She met one of her students who was a girl who is now a man. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
