Fr 10/27/17- Dick Van Dyke Installation
The first episode of Season 2, BILLIONS last night. In bed and reading COUNTERPARTS by 830am. Finished the book between 3am-4am.
Up 530am; Cold, cloudy, and blustery; temps won't crack fifty all day with a strong west wind.
Watched Netflix disc, LA LA LAND. I liked this a whole lot more than I thought I would. It really lives up to the hype...magical.
840am- got the call from Dick Van Dyke that the installation will occur between 10am and 2pm.
Watched second episode of BILLIONS- will save the last for tomorrow morning. Reading RECONSTRUCTION: THE CIVIL WAR on the chair in the living room. I probably read about fifty pages of this very interesting historical account.
Turned the heat on for the first time this season; 64 degrees, and it kicked on many times.
At 2pm I got a call from Dick Van Dyke that the tech would arrive within the hour. He rolled up in a cube van right at 230pm, and about ten minutes later another guy arrived in a straight truck. I think the unit was on the cube van, and the other guy was just there to help lift. The micro wave oven and oven is just one large piece and it fit perfectly into the pre-cut hole. In fact, I think that it looks even better. And, the operation controls are ten times easier and more understandable than the Jenn-Air. They were gone by 315pm. Install time, start to finish, was under forty-five minutes!
The installer had me run the oven for about thirty minutes to burn off the grease/oil from the factory. Then, I left for FitClub West. 45" Cross. 30" Walk. 3.1/0 (Ankle was bothering me since I began on the Cross machine). 45" Old Style Cross. No weights, just forgot. The upstairs hallway is now open, and they're going to have a group of treadmills where the offices used to be. I'm not sure of the final configuration, but it's a definite improvement, but no idea what's going to go into the empty downstairs room.
