Th 10/19/17- Yearly checkup with Dr. Ellison, 1030am this morning.

Last night I watched the first hour of OUTLANDER, then on the PC for some interviews with Ann Coulter and Camille Paglia (for no apparent reason).

Up 5am; more sunny, seventies- just a couple of degrees warmer. Watched the second hour of OUTLANDER and then another episode of MINDHUNTER. And, finally, about 20" of the James Brown bio-pic that I began a couple of days ago; still 45" to the end.

Left for the appointment at 940am. I wanted to get there a bit early to check-in. They still had my old insurance, but we got sailing without any hassle.

Maybe fifteen minutes with the doctor. I've lost more weight- 147lbs (with shoes and clothes), and I lost five pounds since last visit. Blood pressure and all the other indicators were better than fine! I told the nurse about my right ankle and the doctor had questions. He set me up for an xray and some blood work. The muscle cramps might be a lack of Magnesium? And, a nurse washed out both of my ear canals. That was worth the price of admission!

The longest part of the visit was waiting for the xray and blood work, but I was back on the street by 1140am.

Drove downtown and dropped the three discs (3 Drive-By Truckers albums) at the library drop-off and then on to FitClub South.

45" Super Cross (Listened to BIG BROTHER LIVE AT THE CAROUSEL- 1968; I found this last night). 45" Recumbent Bike (I forgot DESPERADOES, and I was reading a collection of very short SciFi stories that were in the trunk of the Accord). 45" Cross in TV area. 30" Bike. 30" Cross. 10" Steam Room/ 5" Whirlpool/ 5" Therapy Pool. As I was walking out I ran into Larry Pemburton. He was asking me about my Coventry health insurance. He said that now the regular employees must pay for their insurance.

Did the grocery shopping at the County Market on south 6th; $57.

Put the shopping away, and then read DESPERADOES on the couch for 30". Two more from Netflix arrived and I'm going to watch the new Tom Hanks film, INFERNO tonight. As long as I send back one disc per day, I can keep OUTLANDER a little longer.
