We 10/4/17- TATTOO DAY
We 10/4/17 TATTOO DAY
Up 415am and read OUTLANDER till five.
Watched an English film set in Ibiza called WHITE ISLAND. Wild Life vs. Straight Life played out in a sunny vacation island off the coast of Spain- Drugs, DJ's, and Gangsters. Ho-Hum....Then, another episode of THE FIVE (just realized that this particular title should never, ever be confused with that show with the trained monkeys on Fox News).
1015am ran outside in a pretty steady drizzle, but it was in the mid to upper 70's and felt fine. Lynn/Oak/Green- 34". Showers and gloomy all day- temps 70's.
I arrived at BLACK MOON a few minutes early and two other clients were waiting for the other artist, Benny. Kevin said that there were four artists working out of the studio. He was watching crazy videos on Youtube- people being gored by bulls, drunks buying beer, and the world's laziest construction worker.
He positioned me face down on a flat recliner and this is how I had to stay for most of the work. Staying still and face down was far worse than the pain of the needle, although, I feel that the tattooing process is a bit more than a 'sweet sting'. And, for the final half hour I was sitting in the chair in a reclining position. He was done at 2pm and it only cost $200 (we had agreed that the first session would be $250).
I made another appointment for the color and some work on the elbow for Wednesday, 10/25 at noon. He covered the work with a paper towel lined on the outside with plastic. I was to remove this paper cover in two hours.
I drove to Planet Fitness for a brief workout. 30" Walk. 3.6/0. 30" Recumbent Bike.
(A guy that always comes in to Planet Fitness and was a member of FitClub many years ago talked to me about his upcoming retirement. He's leaving the State at the end of June and he and his wife are building a house in northern Florida. He's glad to be going to a state with no state income tax because he's tired of paying for all these lazy people who refuse to work and just want to live off of his dime. Where do they find these fucking ethical retards?)
30" Cross. 30" Bike. Then, I drove across the street to Shop'N'Save and did the weekly grocery shopping- $77.00; I bought 'big', but got some nice sales.
I wasn't going to shower, but I read the tattoo instructions and learned that I had to wash the tattoo with soap and water so I decided to just get in the shower. It doesn't look like excessive bleeding is going to be a factor.
The work looks good, and I can't wait to see the final piece. I hope that I can get everything that I want done in one final visit.
Two discs were in the box from Netflix and I'll start SHUT IN tonight. Unfortunately, it turned out to ba a lame film about a woman living alone with her teenage son who's in a coma. He awakes and terror ensues. Then, an episode of MURDEROUS AFFAIR (20").
