Up 630am; read THE WOODEN SEA, 2am-3am.
Cold and sunny early- to upper 50's. Tried to mess with plug-ins on living room PC, but nada. How could Amazon hope to make a dent in the 'movie for play' market if the films won't work on Google Chrome? Seems impossible. I loaded a program to fix and update the drivers, but it required ten bucks. Deleted! Later, I just re-downloaded Chrome- maybe a fix?

 Redownload of Chrome seems to have helped the Google Map Problem-' Black Screen', but the simplest solution for Amazon Prime is to watch via Internet Explorer. I did this and it played perfectly without a single hiccup.  

8am- watching MY COUSIN RACHEL, Netflix disc, the I used Internet Explorer to access Amazon Prime and watched the first episode of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM. It works flawlessly!! Hard to curtail my enthusiasm.

145pm on the machines at FitClub; 45" Canon (forgot book and smart phone; mp3 James McMurtry Heartless Bastards Live). 45" Recumbent Bike (track). 30" Walk. 3.5/0. 45" Cross. Legs/Biceps- no chest Old Woman Sitting And Staring. 30" Old Style Cross. 3' 15" Total. Whirlpool.

Called Elsie's House 535pm. Downstairs and will watch Amazon Prime on Windows 10 'Edge' for the first time. BOSCH- an Amazon series based on the Michael Connelly books, and the author is the executive producer. I didn't have to OK the plugin for Silverlight and working without a hitch!  

 I'm A Believer! When the free introductory offer runs out for Amazon Prime, sign me up!!!
After BOSCH (60"), the first episode of an Amazon series with Griffin Dunne and Kevin Bacon called, "I Love Dick", then another CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Th 10/2/25- WYNK

 Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
