Read CROSS JUSTICE 5am-6am. Coldest day of the year, mid 20's at dawn.Sunny and calm, but will barely crack 40 later.

Wrote up DROWNING RUTH for the blog. I can appreciate that it was well written, but it wasn't  an enjoyable read, and the only thing I could like was the craftsmanship of how the author told the tale.  
7am- began THE DINNER. Great film; 

THE THEME- "Liberal Guilt curdled into Conservative Vexation"-
We pay our tax dollars to provide prisons and homeless shelters to deal with those individuals who choose not to work and be productive members of society. Our sons were blameless, and they deserve to continue the lives that we have made for them.

115pm Drove to FitClub South. 45" Best Octane! (Johnny Winter). 45" Recumbent Bike (CROSS JUSTICE). 45" Cross. 15" Recumbent Bike (read). 30" Cross TV area. 10" Steam Room/ Whirlpool/ No Pool. 

No reading and watched episode #10- MINDHUNTERS, the last of Season One, and then the next, FOOD, BOOZE, AND TATTOOS.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
