Up 445am; Fourteen degrees with 20 mph winds; to mid twenties, partly sunny.

I tried to download Updates for Microsoft Security Essentials and it's just hung-up- I'll have to find another anti-virus for the Windows 7 PC. I've got the same stuff on Windows 10 and that seems to work perfectly.

Wrote up LILY LAKE for the blog. Then watched DeNiro in THE COMEDIAN.

More problems with Microsoft Security.....815am. On and off until 10am. Uninstall/ Reinstall...then I noticed that I had some kind of a virus which I put in quarantine using Malewarebytes. When I tried to install another anti-virus program I was getting a prompt telling me that there was already a program on the computer that could essentially hijack the browser. Five 'things' and they are all in quarantine. I did an update/ reinstall of Microsoft Security Essentials and I don't have Defender but the rest is still working. I'm going to leave it the fuck alone!

Got an email from my tax preparer that allows me to put documents into a folder, but I get the stuff in the mail and don't know what to do with it- that's why I have him.

An hour doc about Creedence Clearwater Revival on Prime; I didn't realize that the band was initially about two brothers- John and Tom who had a history of bands in the Bay area- Blue Velvets/ Golliwogs. No wonder the legal animosity.  And, the band was from the San Francisco area, so they really had nothing to do with The Bayou, The South, or anything else that was crucial to their sound- but it worked like a charm, authentic make believe trumps reality! Tom was born in 1941, and significantly older than 'the Now Generation'- Died of AIDs because of botched blood infusion,1990.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
