 WEIRD EVENT- I awoke at 6am feeling well rested and rarin' to go. I turned on the coffee machine, flipped on NPR, booted up the PC, and then realized that I had misread the clock- it was only 1am. One cup and re-collapse. 

Up 530am; Below zero temperature and wind chills in the double digits. To low teens and mostly sunny.

At 615am I got a call...."This is Windows...." I couldn't believe it! And, the thieves will probably get a lot of takers today because the big news is that there is a major security risk on almost all computers in use today- something about a breach in a chip?

Watching THE LOVERS starring an unrecognizable Debra Winger. I remembered the voice, but it would not associate with the face until I checked Google Image- then it fell into place....Urban Cowboy/ Officer and a Gentleman. The film is the most unusual love story I've ever seen....A terrific film!

915am- reading VIOLENT WARD on the couch, and it's one below zero on the other side of the living room window.

1030AM; watched the last half of, MORE THAN EVER- THE HISTORY OF CHICAGO.

Then two more episodes of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM; "Mommy, that bum is in the bathroom and there's something hard in his pants"/ "Trip the Shaq".

To Club 130pm; nine degrees and a 7mph wind from the NW! 45" Walk. 3.7/0. 45" Octane (Dirt Radio). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. Legs/ Chest/ (Asshole on Biceps- "SS & P Workout''- Sit, Stare, and Pose"). 30" Old Style Cross. Whirlpool, but kept the left arm out of the mix. 

Home to watch Heath Ledger in CANDY. Cut this off at 40" to watch the rest tomorrow morning, and then re-watched, (Netflix), "WHAT THE HEALTH"....Kevin said, after I mentioned this film, that he and his girlfriend went Vegan after seeing the movie. I should get The Brandenburgs to watch it.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
