Up 545am; Low 30's with some patches of fog. Cloudy all day, not much change in temps.

Watched THE LATHE OF HEAVEN on Youtube. Better than I thought it would be and a very accurate presentation of the novel.

Then another THE WIRE; Steve Earle at a 12-Step Meeting. Microsoft security essentials asked for an update and hung up for over and hour. 

I spent over an hour (after waiting 45" for the update- to no avail) screwing around with it and was completely shocked and appalled. I run this program three or four times a week. Now, I'm not sure if it Updates before it runs. Maybe I just hadn't Updated in so long that it caused it to misperform. I uninstalled Essentials, and reinstalled. Shut it off and then restarted when I got back from the workout. By 530pm everything was back to Okey Dokey.

1215pm to Fairhills to fill the Accord and shop the Dollar Store. Got vitamins, a tube of Vaseline, more incense, and three pairs of reading glasses for ten bucks.

1245pm on the machines. 45" Octane (Mekons/ Shoes). 45" Recumbent Bike on the track deck. 45" Cross. 30" Bike. Legs/ Chest/ Biceps. 30" Cross. Whirlpool. Read for a bit while the PC was doing its' thing. Will begin with a Netflix British TV series called THE END OF THE FXXXING WORLD- 2 episodes, then the rest of FUNCTIONAL FITNESS..and part of a WOMEN BEHIND BARS....blasted/ 6 beer night, for no reason!?

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 35 MINUTES; ORNETTE COLEMAN Playlist; began a J.R.E. with an English podcaster. 9am: Janny called and they will be here after their appointment with Dax at 10am.   Watched more of 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix)- The Belgian soap opera of 'all the beautiful people'. 1045am- 1235pm: She met one of her students who was a girl who is now a man.
