Up 745am; Immediately began dreading tomorrow's session in the dentist chair.

42 degrees and all of the ice melted overnight- but it ain't draining, very soggy and to maybe fifty, but damp, overcast, and chilly.

Watched HORNET'S NEST (Amazon Prime) A documentary about two photojournalists, father and son, who were embedded and on patrol with US combat soldiers in Afghanistan. The second part of the film is about the father's experience of being in a Taliban village and pinned down for ten days under heavy fire from the enemy- several young Americans were killed. This is the longest war in American history, and still no end in sight. 

1115am; NILE RODGERS- THE HITMAKER (Amazon Prime) Not only is he an amazing musical talent, but he also comes across as a really good guy. 

1pm to Dollar Store for new kitchen rug, Ace for new furnace filter, and on to FitClub South. A brown rug/ some instant coffee/ and some combs. Stock looking depleted- are they going under? Everybody pays a buck or two for their filters, however, mine is thirty-five-fucking-dollars. On the machines at 2pm.

Will start Netflix disc, Post Tenebras Lux; Mexican Horror.  Then, THE NAKED TRUTH (Netflix) - a look at Trump supporters...But, I can't see anything but that it's just fear and hate masquerading as intelligent action.  Then, a Portlandia...not very good...then, LOWELL GEORGE- FEATS FIRST; a six beer night...Loaded, smashed, wake up in a chair.....

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
