Wrote up THE BURNING GIRL for the blog.
Watching 'SHERLOCK HOLMES' (Robert Downey, Jr./ Jude Law) on Xfinity. The overwhelming objection to this film was that it was not true to 'the real' Sherlock Holmes. The famous detective was more of a cerebral fellow, and the naysayers feel that it's wrong to portray him and Watson as 'action figures'. I can see what they mean, but I think that Guy Ritchie makes it work. I really liked the film, and it was good enough to forgive the excessive length.
