Up 630am; cool and sunny, will barely hit 80 later.

Watched Netflix disc, 'PERMANENT'. Set in 1982,Richmond, VA and it's about a junior high school girl who get a bad perm right before she must attend a new school; a quirky celebration of dysfunctional characters in a positive fashion.

The next episode of 'QUARRY'. Long periods of inactivity, and then some of the most violent scenes imaginable. I love it!

Joe and Janny are on the road to Phoenix and points west. I sent her a text because I was only 90% certain that today was the first day of their trip (she later texted that they actually leave tomorrow morning).

1120am- reading, and the lawn is my 'adventure' for today. 
1240pm- mowed the back lawn, but the front only needed attention on Boozer's side area. Looks good, but we need some rain.
130pm on the bike to the Wabash PO and then to Planet Fitness. 45" Walk (RAY DONOVAN). 45" Recumbent Bike (read the Jack Reacher novel/ 'Dry'- PJ Harvey). 45" Cross (RAY DONOVAN). 45" Bike( 'Donovan'- 2 episodes today). 30" Cross (LOVE).
The odd guy that talked to me yesterday was walking out as I was unchaining the bike- just like yesterday! But, he only waved; thank Christ!!
Home to soak and listen to Live King Sonny Ade from Chicago, and read more Jack Reacher.

'STREET LEVEL' (Amazon Prime) Raw look at street level junkies in downtown LA. We've seen it all before.
After the film I noticed that the PC had gone off line. Got it back, but why? Came upstairs, ate more, and read more Lee Child. The writing is pedestrian, but the story-line is absolutely compelling. The US government learns that enemy agents have agreed to pay $100,000,000 for something unknown. Who's selling, who's buying, and what the heck is it?

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
